Privacy policy

This policy explains how your personal data is processed when you use 4dgspl.at (the website, dashboard, agent API and processing service), in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Questions: hello@4dgspl.at.

1. Data controller

2. Data we process

• Account data: full name, email address, optional company/studio name, a hash of your password (we never see the password itself). With Google sign-in, the name, email address and profile ID shared by Google.
• Your content: camera videos, calibration files, project names and notes; the 4D Gaussian Splatting results and previews produced from them. This includes images of the people who appear in the videos.
• Usage and account activity: project status and processing records, free-job and credit transactions, creation and last-use times of agent keys (we store only a hash of each key, never the key), share links.
• Technical data: IP address, browser information and request logs kept by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security and operation.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Creating your account, managing your session and providing the service (processing your videos, storing and showing the results): establishing and performing the contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
• Tracking free-job and credit usage, preventing abuse and keeping the service secure: legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f) and legal obligation (art. 5/2-ç).
• Answering support requests and sending essential service notices: performance of the contract.
• Showing results publicly when you open a share link or allow them in the examples gallery: your request and explicit permission.

We do not use your videos or results for advertising, profiling or training AI models.

4. Transfers

To provide the service, your data is shared with the following providers only as far as necessary:

• Supabase (authentication, database and file storage; servers in the European Union, Ireland). This is a transfer abroad made under KVKK art. 9.
• The 4dgspl.at processing server (Türkiye): your videos are downloaded temporarily for processing and deleted from the server when processing ends (kept briefly only when a processing problem must be investigated).
• Hostinger (website hosting and the hello@4dgspl.at mailbox that sends account emails) and jsDelivr (delivery of the 3D player library): these providers may keep technical logs while serving pages and emails.
• Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google”, for sign-in.

Unless legally required, we do not sell or hand over your data to third parties.

5. Retention

We keep your account data and content as long as your account is open. When you delete a project, its files are removed from storage. When you ask us to delete your account, we start a process that deletes your account data, projects and files; records we are legally required to keep (e.g. future payment records) are kept for the legal period.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. To keep you signed in, sign-in data and your language choice are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage); the sign-in data is removed when you sign out.

7. People in the videos

If other people appear in the videos you upload, you are responsible for obtaining the permissions needed to use their images for this purpose.

8. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn who it has been transferred to, object, and claim compensation for damage. Send your requests to hello@4dgspl.at; we reply within 30 days at the latest. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; we announce important changes on the site and, where necessary, by email.
